Arctic, Polar Bear and Climate Links
The internet contains an ever changing treasure trove of information for teachers, students and anyone interested in learning more about the arctic, polar bears, climate change or sustainability. The links listed below have been very helpful in my quest for knowledge and I hope that you too will find them useful.
I have listed Polar Bears International first as they are considered the foremost organization in the world with reliable information on polar bears.
I have included links to the new IMAX film entitled "To the Arctic" that will be released in 2012. I had the privilege of working with the PBI team that developed the educational guide that will accompany the film. I think you will enjoy the information and the two previews of the movie. I know they touched my heart deeply.
Finally, I have divided the rest of the links into categories so that information is easier to find: Polar Bears & the Arctic (grades 4-12), Climate Change and Sustainability Solutions and Early Education and Lower Primary Materials on the Arctic & Polar Bears.
